BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate comprehensive training and support packages for retailers and commercial end users selling or using our products.
• Oversee all aspects of the sales process, following established seasonal timelines and provided support information, including conducting staff training sessions.
• Promote and sell company products and services to both current and potential customers, ensuring targets are met.
• Independently manage a number of accounts nationally and support key accounts as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
• Meet sales goals in alignment with company expectations.
• Represent and promote the company's brands using marketing support and resources.
• Foster strong internal relationships with key departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance.
• Participate in events including product launches, trade shows, and marketing activities.


Requirements:
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ideally degree or HND / HNC level education in business, forestry / Arboriculture.
• Fantastic communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Genuine love for all things Arboriculture.
• Proficiency in major IT software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ideally, but not essential, a working knowledge of CRM systems.
• Background in the Forestry/Arboriculture sector and/or retail.
• Ability to travel nationally and attend sales events and tradeshows.
• Must possess a valid UK driver's license.
