Scottish Woodlands is currently recruiting for a forest manager/senior forest manager to be based out of its Melrose office in the Scottish Borders.

Operating from our Melrose office, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a diverse, well established, portfolio of forest and woodland.
You would join a dynamic, driven team with a range of experience represented and be supported by a raft of expertise from within the organisation.
There would be good scope for career development with opportunities for line management and development of the next generation of forester.
The Scottish Borders are a hidden gem, and our office is based in the historic town of Melrose, the home of Scottish Rugby, with a surrounding area steeped in history.
There are extensive opportunities to engage in varied outdoor pursuits, such as mountain biking, fishing in the Tweed Valley, and hill walking in the Southern Uplands and Cheviot Hills. Melrose is a short distance to Edinburgh, trains run regularly from the nearby station at Tweedbank, the Northumberland coast, and Cumbria.
