MARLOW Ropes has introduced its next generation of smaller diameter climbing lines.
The Maverick is an 11.5 mm diameter rope that “offers exceptional flexibility and lighter weight” thanks to its nylon core and friction-resistant hard-wearing polyester cover.
Featuring two colourways options with a low-profile spliced eye and whip, it is also available with split tails.
A Marlow statement added: “Elevate your climbing experience with Maverick – this hi-vis climbing line has been engineered for arborists demanding the best.
“This line benefits from a hard-wearing polyester cover and nylon core that offers improved low elongation, available in two colour options and compatible with the latest hardware and climbing devices.
“Spliced split tails offer the arb climber a great alternative to a closed climbing system and cut down on bulky termination knots.”
Elsewhere, Petzl has recently unveiled ePPEcentre, an application designed to help tree care workers keep track of their harnesses, ropes, and helmets.
Enabling users to manage and inspect their PPE, the app is available on both desktop and mobile, and is packed with a host of features to ensure your kit remains in top condition.
