TIMBERWOLF has announced the launch of the TW 280FTR Hybrid, an 8” fixed-tracked diesel hybrid woodchipper.
Providing the same reduction in emissions and fuel consumption as its innovative road tow counterpart, the TW 280FTR Hybrid has been designed to safely meet the off-road challenge for arborists.
Timberwolf’s managing director Chris Perry said: “It has long been clear that diesel is a favoured fuel for the tree care industry, so extending our DPF-less diesel hybrid powertrain into our 8” fixed-track chipper was a natural step, allowing for greater choice with reduced emissions and fuel consumption with unrivalled simplicity.”
Key features of the new model include a self-charging system when operating, no diesel particulate filter (DPF), WolfTrack dual-speed tracking system (low speed: 2.5 kph, high speed: 5 kph), an integrated track recovery system, Bluetooth connectivity and a three-year warranty as standard with the option to extend to five years.
Available to order from 2 April from all UK-authorised Timberwolf dealers and selected overseas distributors, the TW 280FTR Hybrid will be presented at the ARB Show on the 17–18 May.
