A CONTRACTOR has announced the appointment of a senior operations manager.

Darren Wilcock has joined Multevo and will oversee the firm's arboricultural operations across the north west of England and its National Highways Area 10 Contract.

With 21 years' experience across the industry, Darren was most recently schemes manager at Amey, but says he couldn't turn down the chance at Multevo.

He said: “I am looking forward to utilising my knowledge and skills within the highways sector, to support Multevo’s already well-established team and assist in helping the business continue to grow.

"Leaving Amey and my role as schemes manager on Area 10 was a hard decision to make, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to join such a forward-thinking business.

"My new challenge will still be supporting Area 10 and I am grateful to Amey for allowing me to leave with their blessing.”
