1) Forest manager/senior forest manager, Tilhill
Lanarkshire and Ayrshire area - Lanark office
Description

Our South Scotland forestry region is the largest region within our business both in terms of hectares of land managed and number of staff and therefore plays a key role in our business development aspirations.
We have exciting opportunities for you to be a key member of our Lanarkshire & Ayrshire Area forestry team in the role of Forest Manager or Senior Forest Manager depending on experience.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering a professional high-quality woodland management service to our existing clients together with other on-going forestry related opportunities, including woodland creation. The role includes building sound client relationships and, day to day, the preparation of client estimates, production of reports, implementation and control of work programmes and grant applications, initially in support of more senior forest managers.

2) Forestry operatives/arborists, Scottish Woodlands
Fife, Edinburgh and Central Scotland.
Description
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality arboricultural/chainsaw work adjacent to powerlines in accordance with Scottish Woodlands and SPEN procedures.
Experience and certification in chainsaw, arboriculture and utility operations would be preferred, however, candidates who demonstrate the right qualities may be accepted with full training provided. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, show initiative and be capable of working as part of our expanding professional team.
Scottish Woodlands Utilities Division is an established company within the Utilities industry, and our work comprises of conducting vegetation management for numerous clients throughout Scotland. All applicants will be required to undergo an employment medical examination including a drugs and alcohol screening. Applicants should also hold a full driver’s licence.
