A MUCH-LOVED forestry and arb contractor who died suddenly at the age of 37 has been given a fitting send-off by family and friends.
Richard Jerome, known to most as RJ, was laid to rest in a service last week in Hampshire after passing away in September.
His death left loved ones devastated but they were determined to honour his life and passion for tractors during the funeral.

With this in mind, mourners from across the country formed a motorcade in the vehicles while his coffin was carried by one on a trailer to the service.
RJ began his career at the age of 16 with a second-hand Zetor tractor and hedge cutter. He progressed from there to owning four Fendt tractors, plus hedge cutters, mulchers and much more.
In later life, Richard had contracts for grass and verge cutting as well as bus routes throughout Hampshire, England. He was also involved in land clearance and had several large wood-chippers which he used for forestry work.
He was known for always being in his orange hi-vis jacket.
RJ will be sadly missed by his mum, dad, two sisters and the community of friends he worked with and for.
