Tractor brand Farmtrac will be debuting the industry’s first all-electric compact tractor at The Game Fair.

What Farmtrac as a brand and attendees at The Game Fair have in common is an appreciation and enthusiasm for the Great British countryside and that’s why the star of the Farmtrac stand is the revolutionary FT25G electric tractor.

Hailed as the ‘future of the industry’ with its lithium-ion battery, it’s sure to be a big draw, said Farmtrac sales manager Steven Haynes.

“For those who love the countryside and want it to be a quieter, cleaner place then electric powered machinery is a major factor towards that.

“It has low noise levels and zero emissions and brings seven hours of hard work from a single charge. It is the first big step for anyone looking to reduce their carbon footprint without compromising on productivity.”

Standing alongside the FT25G is the new FT6050, designed to meet the latest emissions standards with Stage V engine and power output of 47hp. This agile machine with an 8×8 speed transmission is powered by a three-cylinder engine and offers an excellent turning radius, making quick work of tight situations.

Also expected on the stand to showcase the compact, versatile range are the 22 hp FT22, 26 hp FT26H, also with cabin, 47 hp FT6050 and 90 hp FT690, with useful attachments such as the AgriMetal TV4000 Tuff-Vac and selected SICMA products, all from UK distributor Reesink Agriculture.

What all the models in the range have in common are world-class components including transmissions designed and produced by Carraro and hydraulic systems from MITA, to deliver a superior performance whether cultivating soil, mowing or towing trailers. Plus up to five years warranty for significant peace of mind.

Steven concluded: “This will be the first year that we will attend The Game Fair with the Farmtrac product line, which we originally launched in the UK in January 2020. We had planned to attend last year, but this of course could not happen due to the restrictions in place.

“However, for us, The Game Fair is a key event in our calendar and we’re glad that this can take place this year. We are looking forward to showing our products, which we feel fit well with the audience who appreciate products that offer great value for money.”

The Game Fair takes place from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire. To discuss exhibiting, contact Alexis Wise via alexis.wise@thegamefair.org or 07944 609392.
