HAND and arm injuries account for the largest percentage of chainsaw accidents. With that in mind, Echo is offering up a free pair of gloves with selected new chainsaws.
The chainsaw gloves, which have a suggested retail price of £46.04, offer the perfect balance of cut resistance on the left glove and flexibility, says Echo, with a unique design that allows your skin to breathe while maintaining grip and position when operating the chainsaw.
They are described as tough and durable, offering Class 1, Type A rated protection and remain comfortable enough to wear all day. The gloves are approved to EN 381 Class 1 (20 m/s) standard and offer protection against the chain coming loose, which could make contact with the left hand.
