THE Game Fair has confirmed it will go ahead as planned, following the UK Government’s announcement that the further easing of restrictions has been delayed until 19 July.

Events such as the Game Fair, agricultural shows, and flower and garden shows were previously sanctioned as part of the Government’s Phase Two relaxations announced on 12 April with greater freedoms given as part of May’s Phase Three measures.

“We have been overwhelmed with positive support and reaction,” commented James Gower, managing director for the event. “The Game Fair team have already planned and implemented additional measures to safeguard and reassure our visitors and exhibitors. These include providing additional toilets and showers with increased cleaning protocols.

“‘Freedom Day on July 19th will be an added bonus and the Game Fair will be there to help people celebrate.”

“With foreign holidays in doubt, the team have seen unprecedented demand for hospitality, camping and glamping, with ticket sales soaring. Demand has never been greater. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Game Fair,” added Gemma Payne, head of marketing.

Forestry Journal will be hosting the Forestry Journal Pavilion, which will provide a turnkey showcase for exhibitors looking for a simpler exhibiting solution this year. Companies looking to test the event for the first time or those that want a simple solution can opt to exhibit in the Pavilion, while those looking for larger stands will be offered a location nearby.

Sign-ups to the Forestry area include Fuelwood, Tilhill, UFKES Greentec and SB Forestry. Woodchippers, stump grinders, log splitters, mulchers, saws, firewood processors and harvester heads sit alongside larger equipment from Eco Log and Pfanzelt. Other brands on display include Heizohack, GROS, FTG-Mohead, Avesta Vagnen, Plaisance, AMR, Japa, and Vepak.

The Game Fair has also added an outdoor cinema, new restaurants and more than 250 new exhibitors to the regular line-up.

Between £60–£80 million is expected to be spent at the fair and a similar amount spent in the local economy, giving the region a much need boost.

The Game Fair takes place from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire. To discuss exhibiting, contact Ryan Watson via ryan.watson@thegamefair.org or 07970 245158.
