THE ARB Show 2020 (due to take place in May) has officially been cancelled, it has been announced.
In an email to exhibitors today (17 March) events coordinator Sophie Chappell said: "Unfortunately, the Arboricultural Association has had to take the decision to cancel this years’ ARB Show which was due to take place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May.
"We know how disappointing this news will be for many involved, from our exhibitors who have been busy preparing for the event, to the thousands of visitors who look forward to it each year.
"We have taken the decision to cancel with the world in an unprecedented situation grappling with a global pandemic of COVID-19, and public health must remain everyone’s priority.
"We are extremely grateful to our exhibitors, as well as our principle sponsor STIHL and all who have supported the event."
She added that all exhibitors will be offered a full refund and that there are no plans at this time to reschedule this show this year.
