In this series of articles, we will be sharing exclusive coverage from all aspects of the ARB Show 2024.
FSI Stump Cutters UK – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Danish manufacturer – made its presence felt with a stand showcasing its full range, and enjoyed an enthusiastic reception.
Sales director Lee Hatton said: “It’s been absolutely fantastic. We’ve been blessed with the weather and we’ve had a huge number of people come on the stand, which has been very important for us. This is our first year exhibiting as FSI UK, having now set up a dealer network in the UK.
“We are a manufacturer-owned subsidiary. That means the dealers have the full weight of the manufacturer behind them. I can assist them with demos, technical support, full servicing and backup. They all stock parts and machines and they’re positioned regionally, so you don’t have to travel far to find your nearest stockist.
“On the stand we’ve got our engine range, the tractor range and our hydraulic range, covering all the bases.”
Garnering a lot of interest was the year-old B31, which Lee said had proven surprisingly successful since its release.
“It was introduced at the ARB Show last year and has gone down a storm,” he said.
“We’ve sold a lot more than expected. It’s only 740 mm wide and hydraulically driven, so it’s a very low maintenance machine for owner operators and hire fleets.
“Its compact dimensions make it very manoeuvrable and that helps with narrow access, which is key in the UK market. It’s become very popular very quickly.”
