WANT to get to the bottom of forestry's latest issues? Then we've got some good news for you.
Forestry Journal is delighted to announce the launch of a new video series, Forestry Briefing, in which our writers and experts will take a look at the current trends and talking points from the woods.

Launching on our YouTube channel on Tuesday (October 24), the briefing's debut comes from Estonia where editor John McNee and deputy editor Jack Haugh had travelled to see Farma's first-ever forwarder in action. As well as discussing the LF8 and where it sits in the market, the boys explored the reaction to the Sycamore Gap felling and news the UK has been overtaken as the world's second-largest net importer of timber (but it's not exactly good news).
The briefing also allows us to outline the exclusive content subscribers can read in the October editions of Forestry Journal and essentialARB.
Future editions of the briefing will see special guests and our expert writers join John and/or Jack, bringing their industry-leading knowhow to the issues that matter to operators, foresters and everyone else connected with the sector.
The first edition of the Forestry Briefing will appear on our YouTube channel at 4PM on Tuesday. It will also be shared on our other social media channels.
