In this series of articles, we will be sharing exclusive coverage from all aspects of the ARB Show 2023.
ONE company that has brought out a lot of new products in the last couple of years which it hasn’t had much chance to show off is Petzl.
The climbing equipment supplier was eager to make up for lost time at the ARB Show, with a stand that gave visitors the chance to get up close and personal with some new tools.
Brand manager Scott Shaw said: “In the last couple of years we’ve launched two new pulley cambium savers and this has been a really good chance to kind of go through the differences between the two of them, the efficiencies, but also talk about the wider story of friction in the system. Having the time and space to be able to talk about the whole solution has been incredibly useful.
“People are really appreciative of the chance to try things out and feel the friction difference. They go away from the stand with all of the information they need and make a really clear decision about what they want or how they want to evolve as a climber.”
Petzl’s retail network will be offering more in-person events in the months to come, while the brand has been developing instructional videos to help educate customers about its products, which are available to watch on YouTube.
