PROMAX ACCESS
SPIDER 20.95
2020 sees the launch of the new Spider 20.95, designed specifically with the arb sector in mind. This compact tracked chassis access platform offers a working cage capacity of 250 kg throughout the machine’s full working envelope of 20 m working height and 9.5 m of outreach.
A simple track-widening system provides increased stability and greater ground clearance, which is ideal for travelling over delicate lawns and poor terrain. The cranked outrigger design enables greater set-up capabilities for working on inclines and uneven ground.
The Spider 20.95 has the very latest user-friendly operating features including all function radio control from the ground for ease of operation and increased safety, with push-button auto machine set-up and boom stow ‘home’ function.
With super smooth operation and simple intuitive controls, the Spider 20.95 benefits from advanced operating features previously found on much larger working machines in the Spider range. The on-board user-friendly LED display provides real-time operator assistance and diagnostics information, as and when required.
Powered by a reliable Kubota diesel engine and AC motor, the versatile Spider 20.95 provides a fully operational fly-jib, 180-degree cage rotation, beyond centre 400-degree turret rotation, a strong robust cage and, for ease of transport, it is road towable under 3,500 kg with a standard plant trailer.

IMER ACCESS
IMER Access manufactures a range of access platforms, which include a growing selection of tracked spider lifts from 13 metres to 19 metres.
The IM R19SA is a 19-metre working height tracked spider lift manufactured by IMER Access in Italy. It features a 2-stage telescopic primary boom, a single articulating secondary boom and a fly-jib. Outreach is governed by the load limiting system, which calculates the weight in the basket to give the most amount of extension possible. Standard features for this model are the hydraulically adjustable track width, self-levelling outriggers and the 12-volt emergency motor pump. Optional extras include wireless remote controls, non-marking tracks, a one-man cage, and free customisable paint schemes.
In addition, IMER has created the IMERVIEW dial-up and tracking facility which, by the end of this year, will enable full remote diagnostics, calibrations, and adjustments to be carried out from anywhere in the UK.
Power options for the IM R19SA include a Honda GX390 petrol engine, a Yanmar L100N diesel engine and a 48-volt lithium battery pack, as well as the option of a 110-volt or 240-volt mains-powered motor.
The controls are fully proportional with the ability to perform multiple functions at the same time with the use of the Scanreco controls, which also feature an LCD screen to give various indicators such as working outreach available and outrigger status.
The IMER 19 has a maximum outreach of 9.3 metres and will safely travel on gradients up to 18 degrees. Its compact design and removable cage allow it to pass through gaps 78 cm in width and 199 cm in height.
The IMER range is available from Specialist Access Engineering (www.specialistaccessengineering.com) in the north and NEG Services (www.negservices.co.uk) in the south, who look after all sales, servicing, and parts for the UK.
