The Panthera features a robust John Deere engine with a capacity of up to 900hp. The Panthera efficiently can convert logs into consistent wood chips in seconds. Interchangeable baskets can give a chip size ranging from 50cm to 90cm. Ufkes prides itself on providing customisable machinery tailored to meet clients' needs, with the Panthera illustrating its success. This versatile unit can be mounted on tracks, a 3-axle semi-trailer, container chassis (hooklift), or a stand-alone mounted unit.
How does it work? Here's a simple breakdown...
The Palfinger Wood Crane operates from a spacious XXL cab, allowing the operator to collect logs and feed them into the chipper using four hardox steel rollers. It handles logs up to 10m long and 90cm in diameter.
The Ufkes venturi airflow system channels wood chips into the suction blower, ensuring efficient discharge and cleanliness. The cab is designed for safety and comfort, featuring air conditioning, advanced controls, and excellent visibility through windows and cameras. The Panthera is built for durability with high-quality materials, and routine maintenance is made
easy with accessible service points.
