Exeter's Winter Wonderland in Northernhay Gardens was due to open on Thursday (November 21) but has been cancelled because of today's heavy snowfall. In a post on Facebook they say: "Due to the heavy snowfall, we will be opening Winter Wonderland tomorrow at 5pm instead of the usual 10am.
A Yellow warning for Rain has been forecasted from 6am on Saturday until 11:45pm on Sunday (November 24). The warning covers the entire South West from Somerset and Devon, from Truro, through to Portsmouth.
Lots of schools around the county are closed today (November 21) after beavy snowfall makes it impossible for students and staff to reach their school.
Sidmouth Herald readers have been sharing their pictures of the snowfall which has covered East Devon this morning (November 21). Schools in East Devon, Sidbury, Sidmouth College, Newton Poppleford closed because of health and safety concerns and students and pupils being unable to reach the school.
South West Water representatives updated Sidmouth Town Council on the works being carried out on the Ham. At the latest town council meeting on November 2, South West Water Remedial Works Project manager Charlie Ford gave an update to Members of the town council.

Devon County Council has deployed its team of gritters across the county this afternoon and into this evening (November 20).
A further 150 metres of seawall will be secured with a steel sheet pile wall through the second phase of repairs to Exmouth’s sea defences. Site set up for the second phase began on Wednesday November 20, with the seawall repair work scheduled to begin on Monday November 25.
